Revenue Analyst



As part of the Reservations Team, the revenue analyst covers the below areas:
1. Data Analysis: Analyzing revenue, profit, and demand data associated with hotel rooms and space inventory to identify trends and opportunities.
2. Forecasting and Budgeting: Preparing forecasts, budgets, and daily projections to guide the hotel's financial planning and strategy.
3. Rate and Inventory Management: Managing room rates and inventory to maximize revenue, including setting and adjusting prices based on demand and market conditions.
4. Performance Reporting: Generating and updating revenue management reports, and providing insights to the management team.
5. Market Analysis: Conducting competitive analysis and market research to understand the hotel's position in the market and identify potential areas for growth.
6. Collaboration with Sales and Marketing: Working closely with the sales and marketing teams to develop and implement strategies that drive revenue.
7. System Maintenance: Maintaining and updating revenue management systems, including inputting rate hurdles and monitoring forecasted demand.
8. Compliance and Standards: Ensuring all revenue management activities comply with the hotel's standards and industry regulations.
9. Problem-Solving: Addressing any issues related to revenue management and finding solutions to optimize performance.
10. Reservations handling: Assisting Reservations Team in the daily operational tasks (attending phone & e-mail enquiries, room allocation, reservation updates)
