# Retail Inventory Controller
Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organisation:
Monitoring and maintaining levels of inventory between systems, stores, and warehouse. Ensuring correct retail controls and procedures are implemented at store level and accurate STOH information is delivered to the Senior Manager Retail Operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Run a series of inventory reports on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis and perform detailed analysis of item performance.
- Develop accurate, consistent, and enhanced inventory reporting structures.
- Identify “heavy” and “low” turn inventory items and maintain communication reports for the respective teams.
- Control inventory adjustments (quantity and price variance analysis).
- Conduct diligent investigations to resolve system problems.
- Maintain high levels of customer service (internal and external).
- Minimize inaccuracies in store stock data.
- Drive the stock audit process from planning to execution.
- Ensure stock items and revenue are accurately managed in aLS and SAP for 100% alignment.
- Proactively propose process changes to prevent irregularities.
- Manage store receiving and shipping of inventory, including EOS transfers and inter-branch transfers.
- Report investigation results and potential loss prevention issues directly to the Senior Manager Retail Operations.
- Train and develop store teams on RFID tools.
- Collaborate with the country operations team to manage inventory levels.
- Clear all open transfer STS and DC-Store transfers.
Key Performance Indicators:
- Shrinkage target as defined annually.
- Timely adjustment of uniforms & damages monthly.
- Internal controls audit results.
- Investigations closed within 48 hours.
- System alignment results monthly between 98-100%.
- Share best practices on RFID and inventory management.
- Regularly share inventory reports and analyze results.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Advanced proficiency in MS Office.
- Fluency in English.
- Strong analytical skills.
Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:
- University degree in Business or related field.
- 3-4 years of retail inventory control experience.
- Experience in Sports/Consumer goods industry preferred.
- RFID experience is a plus.
