Job description

Our client is seeking an experienced Retail Deposit Specialist for immediate onboarding. This role focuses on driving deposit growth, managing the cost of funds, and developing innovative deposit products.

Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute strategies to grow Current, Savings, and Term deposits while optimizing the cost of funds.
Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and risks.
Product development: Design and launch innovative deposit products tailored to customer needs.
Implement retention strategies, including personalized offers and loyalty programs.
Collaborate with marketing to enhance customer engagement and communication.
Ensure compliance with banking regulations and internal policies.
Work closely with branch banking, operations, IT, and compliance teams for seamless execution.
Track key metrics, analyze trends, and provide data-driven recommendations.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's in Business, Finance, or a related field (Master's preferred).
12+ years of experience in retail banking, focusing on deposit products and portfolio management (preferably in the GCC market).
Strong understanding of retail banking, deposit products, and market dynamics.
Proven track record in deposit growth strategies, cost optimization, and customer retention.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking skills.
Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
Knowledge of banking regulations and compliance requirements.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
