Day to Day Responsibilities

Morning Routine

  1. Opening Procedures: Oversee the opening of the restaurant, ensuring everything is set up and ready for service.
  2. Staff Briefing: Conduct a morning briefing with the team to discuss the day's schedule, special events, and any important updates.

Operations Management

  1. Service Supervision: Monitor the dining area during service to ensure smooth operations and address any issues that arise.
  2. Quality Control: Ensure that food and beverage quality meets the hotel's standards.

Customer Interaction

  1. Guest Relations: Greet and interact with guests, addressing any concerns or special requests to ensure a positive dining experience.
  2. Feedback Collection: Gather feedback from guests to continuously improve service and offerings.

Staff Management

  1. Scheduling: Create and manage staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage during peak times.
  2. Training and Development: Train new staff and provide ongoing development opportunities for existing team members.

Administrative Tasks

  1. Inventory Management: Oversee inventory levels of food, beverages, and supplies.
  2. Financial Management: Monitor the restaurant's financial performance, including budgeting and cost control.

Collaboration

  1. Coordination with Kitchen: Work closely with the kitchen team to ensure timely and accurate food preparation and delivery.
  2. Event Planning: Collaborate with the events team to organize and execute special events.

Compliance and Safety

  1. Health and Safety: Ensure that all health and safety regulations are followed.
  2. Policy Adherence: Ensure that all staff adhere to the hotel's policies and procedures.

Evening Wrap-Up

  1. Closing Procedures: Oversee the closing of the restaurant, ensuring all tasks are completed.
  2. Review and Plan: Reflect on the day's operations and plan for the next day's activities.

Working as a Restaurant Manager in a luxury hotel is both challenging and rewarding, requiring strong leadership and excellent organizational skills.

What we need from you

Ideally, you'll have some or all of the following competencies and experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Hotel Administration / Business Administration
  • Two to Three years’ prior tenure in a similar role
  • International luxury hotel chain background
  • GCC exposure
  • English Fluency is required
  • Arabic Fluency is preferred
