The Role
Edelman Saudi Arabia seeks a talented, driven, and experienced Resource Manager to join the Operations Team due to company growth.
As part of the operations and resource management team, the Resource Manager will support operational excellence by developing best practices to leverage talent, ensure client satisfaction, and maximize profitability.
The Resource Manager will manage staffing, provide insightful reporting, identify opportunities, and offer strategic staffing guidance to client teams. Reporting to the Head of Operations, they will collaborate with client teams, business managers, and project managers to assess planning and project management needs.
### Responsibilities:
+ Understand the strengths, skills, and work styles of your talent pool to effectively assign them to client work.
+ Collaborate with client leads, project managers, and capability leaders to assess staffing needs for upcoming projects.
+ Identify the right staffing solutions and optimize team compositions.
+ Update staff planning and resourcing tools regularly.
+ Compile reports on staff availability and billability.
+ Analyze project trends and forecast data for headcount planning.
+ Identify skills gaps and hiring needs in partnership with portfolio and capability leaders.
+ Use resource management tools to address over- or under-utilization issues.
+ Manage project assignments and serve as the main contact for resource fulfillment.
+ Coordinate with line managers to optimize resource allocation.
+ Mediate resource competitions based on project priorities.
+ Work with finance to ensure timely timesheet submissions.
+ Identify freelance needs and coordinate with relevant stakeholders.
+ Manage assessments for contractors and freelancers.
+ Evaluate project details to source the best talent solutions.
+ Communicate proactively with account teams and project managers about resource status.
+ Lead or participate in meetings with talent pools and resource management teams.
+ Support continuous improvement of resource processes and offerings.
### Requirements:
+ Proven experience in operations/resource management within communications, media, advertising, or marketing agencies.
+ Strong project management and workflow planning skills.
+ Ability to work cross-functionally and manage multiple stakeholders.
+ Experience with resource coordination, operations, or team management.
+ Open to system changes and process improvements.
+ Curiosity about agency practice areas and talent matching.
+ Ability to handle a busy workload and meet tight deadlines.
+ Flexible, responsive, and highly organized.
+ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with high emotional intelligence.
+ Character that enforces scheduling controls and manages stakeholder expectations.
+ Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) and PowerBI.
