Job Overview:

• Adheres to our clients philosophy and mission.

• Provides direct, professional nursing care to specify population of patients in inpatient and outpatient settings.
• Prepares and presents shift endorsements.
• Assesses and reassesses patients according to policy.
• Oriented and familiar about Checking crash cart and defibrillator.
• Attends patients' rounds and attends to doctor's needs for patient care.
• Carry out all doctors' orders.
• Accurately transcribe medication orders into medication record.
• Check all patient medical records and ensure all are updated, orders are carried out and complete documentation.
• Vital Signs being done and documented.
• Prepares chart for preoperative and pre procedure requirements.
• Calls doctors to follow up questions and problems.
• Ensures medication ordered and obtained from pharmacy.
• Gets updates on the assigned patient condition, sees if help is needed.
• Maintains confidentiality of patient records.
• Respects and supports patient rights.
• Team responsibilities: Demonstrates a positive attitude and willingness to facilitate the unit function, productivity, and efficiency.
• Supervises nursing aids/ health care assistants during the shift.
• Performs other related duties incidental to the work described herein.
• Team player: Responsible for maintaining team spirit and professional communication inside the unit.
• Trainer and educator: Works as preceptor in the unit to orient and train new employees.
• Language capabilities: Efficient in reporting written communication and documentation.
• Actively participates in accreditation processes and compliance to standards to ensure patient safety.

To be considered for this role, you must have one of the following qualifications:

• Graduate of Bachelor of Science in Nursing/ Nursing Diploma.
• Valid license in country of origin.
• Valid Registration as Nurse Specialist/ Technician in Saudi Council for Health Specialties.

Professional Experience:

• At least 2 years' experience in a clinical setting.

Specialized Knowledge:

• BLS is a must. ACLS, PALS, or NRP based on departmental allocation.
• Ability to make administrative and procedural decisions and judgments on sensitive, confidential issues.
• Knowledge of nursing theory and practice.
• Ability to plan the care for individualized patients, implement interventions and actions, and evaluate individual patient care outcomes and programs including patient/family education.
• Knowledge of accreditation and certification requirements and standards.
• Knowledge of clinical and/or surgical facilities, instruments, and equipment.
• Knowledge of clinical operations and procedures.
• Knowledge of appropriate procedures and standards for the administration of medications and patient care aids.
• Ability to draw intravenous and peripheral blood.
• Knowledge of patient evaluation.
