We are seeking a dedicated Reservations Agent to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. As a Reservations Agent, you will play a crucial role in maximizing hotel revenue and ensuring guest satisfaction by efficiently handling and processing reservations. This position offers an exciting opportunity to be at the forefront of our customer service operations, contributing to the success of our hotel.
Responsibilities
Greet guests over the phone in a friendly and professional manner
Record reservation information accurately, including group and transient business codes
Inform other departments of VIP arrivals and special requests
Process deposit information and handle special billing instructions
Maintain accurate inventory control for rooms to contribute to maximum occupancy
Utilize yield management techniques to achieve maximum occupancy and average rate
Employ up-selling techniques to enhance guest experience and increase revenue
Handle all special requests appropriately and pre-block VIP accommodations
Keep supervisors informed of new group bookings
Utilize guest history files to provide personalized service
Promote hotel restaurants and other services to maximize customer satisfaction and revenue
Handle incoming correspondence, faxes, and reservation messages in a timely manner
Adhere to all applicable laws, corporate standards, and guidelines
Maintain high confidentiality regarding guest privacy
Follow emergency procedures to ensure the security and safety of guests and employees
Attend required meetings and training sessions
Assist colleagues with similar or related tasks as needed
Qualifications
Saudi National (This position is open to Saudi citizens only)
Little to no work experience required; fresh graduates are welcome to apply
Basic English language skills
Strong passion for the hospitality industry
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Team player with a collaborative attitude
Ability to work a flexible schedule based on departmental needs
Strong focus on guest needs with the ability to remain calm and courteous under pressure
Knowledge of reservation systems (training will be provided)
Basic computer skills
