Job Description

We are currently seeking passionate and dynamic guest-focused Revenue professionals who pride themselves on delivering extraordinary customer service and providing creative solutions to our guests.

As a Reservations Agent, your responsibilities will include maintaining effective communication on all reservations to ensure smooth and efficient service delivery. Key responsibilities include:

  1. Processing and confirming guest room reservations made via phone, letter, or fax.
  2. Inputting reservations into the computer system, recording all pertinent information, and attending to inquiries, complaints, and requests regarding reservations.
  3. Staying up-to-date with hotel promotions and following established procedures for processing reservations, rates, confirmations, and hotel facilities.
  4. Demonstrating comprehensive product knowledge, understanding rate structures, and applying rate management strategies.
  5. Maintaining an organized filing system for all correspondence and collating reports as required by the Reservations Manager or Supervisor.
  6. Promoting and maintaining good public relations to maximize business opportunities.
  7. Maintaining accurate room status updates at all times.
  8. Answering incoming calls according to Rotana standards, inputting fax information, and monitoring emails regularly.
  9. Organizing visa requests for hotel guests in accordance with hotel policy and upselling whenever appropriate.
Skills, Education, Qualifications & Experiences

Candidates should possess a diploma or degree in hospitality and have previous experience in hotel reservations. Proficiency in computer literacy and excellent communication skills in English (both written and oral) are required. Additional language skills are considered an asset.
