Job Description
  1. Day-to-Day Activities
  • Managing Reservations: Handling incoming reservations via phone, email, and online booking systems, ensuring accurate recording in the hotel's reservation system.
  • Guest Communication: Responding to guest inquiries, providing information about room availability, rates, amenities, and confirming reservations.
  • Coordination with Departments: Liaising with front desk, housekeeping, sales, and marketing to meet guest requests and promote bookings.
  • Revenue Management: Monitoring room availability, adjusting rates, analyzing booking trends, and recommending pricing strategies.
  • Handling Cancellations and Modifications: Processing changes, managing no-shows, and minimizing revenue loss.
  • Administrative Tasks: Maintaining reservation records, preparing reports on occupancy, revenue, etc.
  • Training and Supervising Staff: Guiding new reservations agents and ensuring policy adherence.
  • Problem-Solving: Addressing reservation issues and guest complaints to ensure satisfaction.
  • Skills and Qualities Needed
    • Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
    • Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
    • Familiarity with reservation software and systems.
  • What We Need From You
    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Hotel or Business Administration.
    • 2-3 years experience in a similar role, preferably in international luxury hotels with GCC exposure.
    • English fluency required; Arabic fluency preferred.
