Project Overview :

Bechtel has been involved over the last 80 years in some of the world’s busiest and most complex airport projects, including Greenfield and Brownfield developments. In the GCC, we have held significant roles on King Khalid, King Fahad, Dubai, Hamad, and Muscat international airports. As we consider the future of aviation globally and in the GCC, we are very enthusiastic about the future of aviation in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

We are currently considering candidates with aviation, other transportation or complex public accessible building project experience to provide project management consultancy services (including technical, commercial and construction management) for a major infrastructure project in Riyadh.

Job Summary :

In this role, you will participate in defining facility / system functions, behaviors, and other design requirements. You will perform system-level design verification and test requirements specifications.

You will compile, adjust, and correlate data that will develop your professional work knowledge and abilities through the application of standard systems engineering techniques, procedures, and criteria.

Major Responsibilities :

• Compiles, adjusts, and correlates data thatwill develop professional work knowledgeand abilities through the application ofstandard Systems Engineering techniques,procedures and criteria
• Participates in defining facility / system functions,behaviors, and other design requirements,prepares the criteria documents andcoordinates and facilitates technicaldiscussion to resolve system design issues
• Performs system-level design verification,requirements verification, test requirementsspecifications, and requirements flow downand traceability
• Provides technical assistance to other Systemspersonnel and interacts with project functions,the customer, and regulatory agency personnel inthe resolution of complex regulatory issues
• Evaluates, selects, and applies standard SystemsEngineering methods, techniques, procedures, andcriteria, using independent judgment in makingadaptations and modifications
• Develops system models using Model-BasedSystems Engineering methods and tools (e.g.,IBM Rationale DOORS, Cameo SystemsModeler by CATIA orInnoslateby SpecInnovations)
• Defines facility / system functions, behaviors, andother design requirements, prepares the criteriadocuments and coordinates and facilitatestechnical discussion to resolve system designissues
• Coordinates system-level design verification,requirements verification, test requirementsspecifications, and requirements flow down andtraceability
• Coordinates work and collaborates with otherengineering disciplines
• Provides assistance toproject and constructionmanagement in identifying and complying withproject Systems requirements and in addressingissues as they arise during project execution

Education and Experience Requirements :

Requires a bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 2-5 years of relevant experience or 6-9 years of relevant work experience

Required Knowledge and Skills :

• Skill in assessing the scope of problems and developing practical solutions.
• Ability to coordinate and work with the other engineering disciplines, the client, designers, contractors, vendors, and stakeholders.
• Demonstrate flexibility in balancing competing deadlines, priorities, and resource availability
• Able to identify and articulate opportunities for procedural improvement, provide solutions and carry out implementation.
• Must have strong organizational, leadership and teamwork skills, proven problem-solving abilities, and the desire to innovate designs as well as architecture / engineering work processes.
• Proven ability to work within a diverse multicultural environment.
