Job summary

Rashed Al Rashed & Sons Group is seeking an HSE Inspector to execute field-level Health, Safety, and Environment assurance across assigned factory areas. The role involves conducting inspections, identifying hazards, reporting unsafe conditions, verifying Permit to Work readiness, and supporting hazard identification and risk assessment activities.

Qualifications

  • Minimum qualification of a Safety Diploma or related occupational safety certification.
  • Practitioner certification in occupational safety and health is preferred.
  • Strong English communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools and digital reporting systems.
  • Excellent time management and attention to detail.
  • Ability to handle a heavy workload and manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously.
  • Entry-level experience accepted with strong field discipline and reporting ability.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct inspections in various work areas to ensure compliance with company HSE procedures and approved inspection schedules.
  • Identify, document, and report HSE observations, violations, unsafe acts, conditions, and deviations.
  • Support Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment activities by coordinating with relevant departments.
  • Assist with Job Hazard Analysis activities by identifying hazards, defining risk levels, and submitting records within the required timeline.
  • Verify site readiness for Permit to Work activities, monitor work execution, and ensure safety requirements are followed.
  • Support accident, incident, near-miss, injury, and illness reporting, and follow up on corrective actions.
  • Maintain Corrective Action Register and other HSE records in approved digital systems.
  • Conduct toolbox talks, safety awareness sessions, and training as assigned.
  • Monitor firefighting equipment, emergency systems, waste handling, and environmental practices for compliance.
