Job description

As an R&M Specialist I, you will be responsible for the repair and maintenance of field tools. The role involves performing preventive & corrective maintenance, retrofit, and upgrades to electronic, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic equipment, data acquisition systems, downhole tools, and communication equipment. Tasks are carried out following company guidelines, technical instructions, schematics, and best practices, under supervision of senior staff. The position may also include leading and overseeing tasks performed by other R&M employees, depending on experience level.

Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on drilling field tools and equipment.
• Ensure repairs meet industry standards and are completed within specified timelines.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs.
• Assist with inventory management of drilling equipment and spare parts.
• Collaborate with the supply chain team to procure necessary components.
• Participate in daily operations, safety meetings, toolbox talks, and Job Hazard Analyses (JHA). Report issues promptly using appropriate tools.
• Assemble, install, or repair wiring, electrical or electronic components, piping systems, plumbing, machinery, or equipment.
