Reliability Specialist

What are you going to do

• We are seeking a Reliability Engineer to join our Rotating Equipment Division (RED) under the Equipment Consulting Services Department.
• RED is responsible for providing high-level technical consultations/support to all the company's operating facilities and joint ventures, as well as heavily supporting the company's mega projects from the early stages to startup.
• As a Reliability Engineer, your role will be to develop value-adding concepts and technologies to address corporate challenges and enhance operations. Additionally, you will ensure compliance with Saudi Company engineering standards and best practices related to various types of rotating equipment.
• As a successful candidate, you will be expected to:
• Provide guidance on complex reliability processes and equipment enhancements, supported by detailed engineering analysis.
• Anticipate future challenges and develop reliability analyses to evaluate performance.
• Proactively identify potential system and equipment failures and implement strategies to mitigate operational risks.
• Plan, lead, and oversee root cause analyses on systems and/or equipment critical to operations.
• Introduce and implement new technologies in the field to enhance equipment reliability and operational performance.
• Provide technical guidance for the design, architecture, and data requirements of reliability and maintenance metrics and KPIs.

Essential skills and knowledge

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Chemical Engineering.
• Minimum of 15 years of experience in operation and maintenance.
• Experience in the Oil, Gas, or Petrochemical industry.
• Professional certification such as Professional Engineer (P.E.) or Chartered Engineer (C. Eng.).
