Job summary

A leading company in titanium dioxide production is seeking an Electrical Engineer to provide expertise in electrical engineering for CCRs and capital projects. The role involves executing design aspects, providing technical assistance, and preparing project packages. Candidates should have a BS in Electrical Engineering and at least five years of relevant experience.

Job description

Provide electrical engineering expertise for CCRs and capital projects.

MAJOR ACTIVITIES PERFORMED

1. Responsible for the execution of all design aspects of electrical engineering.
2. Provide technical assistance during construction and commissioning.
3. Review calculations and design drawings of electrical equipment supplies and contractors.
4. Cooperate in interdisciplinary design reviews.
5. Responsible for material take-off and requisition for electrical materials.
6. Prepare project/CCR packages from an engineering perspective, including conceptual or detailed construction drawings, design criteria, and engineering calculations.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

Education: BS in Electrical Engineering from a reputable institution.

Experience: Minimum of three (3) years of electrical design experience plus two (2) years of field experience in process plant or heavy industrial projects.

Skills

• Thorough knowledge of electrical engineering systems, calculations, construction, and inspection methods.
• Ability to prepare electrical layouts, grounding, lighting, MCCs, and diagrams.
• Proficiency in manual drafting or using CADD operation software.
• Computer literacy with proficiency in software such as:
• - Word processor (MS Word)
• - Spreadsheet (MS Excel)
• Proven written and verbal communication skills.
