Job description

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assure accuracy of approval requests by checking medical data for appropriateness of information.
  • Interact with multidisciplinary teams in the identification of related services and procedures for the approval process.
  • Use the medical background to review & liaise with doctors and nursing staff for medical reports and data information to assure that approvals are granted.
  • Liaise with insurance companies to fasten the approval process and assure service approvals.
  • Send & follow up on the rejected medical approval concerning the companies for all inpatient & outpatient.
  • Perform other tasks and duties within the scope of knowledge, skills, and experience required for the job, as assigned by the immediate manager or department head.
  • Maintain and monitor rejection data.
  • Answer inquiries concerning the patients.
  • Treat people with dignity, compassion, and respect.
  • Provide personalized coordinated care and support for patients and families.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Healthcare Sciences.

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE:

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in medical insurance.
  • Minimum 2 years’ clinical experience.

SPECIALIZED SKILLS:

  • Computer literate.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
