Job description

Job Responsibilities
  • Manage the care of new and follow-up patients at Riyadh Hospital from consultation through to completion of treatment.
  • Maintain accurate and clear medical records.
  • Ensure consistent medical treatment of patients by working in accordance with agreed protocols and achieve medical continuity of care for the patients.
  • Provide advice to clinical, scientific, and administrative staff.
  • Facilitate own training under the direction of the Medical Director, in accordance with General Medical Board requirements, best practices, and Riyadh Hospital Policies & Procedures and protocols.
  • Take responsibility for CME and documentation of activity in support of revalidation.
  • Comply with current laws, regulations, and accreditation standards such as MOH, SCFHS, SFDA, CBAHI, JCI, etc.
  • Ensure the credentials, privileges, and competencies of subordinates.
Qualification & Experience Requirements
  • 3rd category credential according to SCFHS such as Saudi clinical diploma, Arab Board, Jordanian Board, or postgraduate certificate, Syrian Board, or specialty certificate, Egyptian Master, etc.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in the same field after obtaining the credential, or according to SCFHS regulations. For subspecialties, the physician should have completed the required training.
  • Current registration in the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties as a Registrar is highly preferred.
  • Highly required certifications include BLS, ACLS, PALS, ATLS, NRP, ALSO, depending on the specialty.

  • Profound knowledge of relevant laws and regulations in Saudi Arabia.
  • Commitment to the ethical code of the profession and the medical field.
  • Good communication and people management skills.
  • Leadership skills and emotional/social intelligence.
