Job description

Responsibilities

• Maintains a high level of focus and consistency throughout entire shift.
• Develops a knowledge base for most common conditions encountered.
• Plans Department operations during his/her duty so that the departments can best meet the needs of the population served. This involves meetings and discussions with the physicians and nurses in each area of the department and suggests methods of alleviation.
• Assists the Chief of departments and consultants in planning programs integrating all aspects of the management of total patient care.
