Position Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Regional Sales Manager with deep expertise in sea, air, and land freight to lead the expansion of our freight forwarding business across the Middle East. This is a front-line leadership role for someone who leads from the front—an agile, hands-on professional who builds business with intent, takes full ownership of outcomes, and is deeply committed to driving sustainable revenue and profitability growth.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Sales & Business Growth

  • Drive sales strategy and execution across all freight modes: sea, air, and land.
  • Consistently achieve and exceed revenue and gross profit targets.
  • Expand regional footprint by identifying new opportunities and penetrating untapped markets.

2. Client Acquisition & Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain a strong portfolio of clients across diverse industries.
  • Manage the complete sales lifecycle – from prospecting and pitching to closing and retaining high-value clients.
  • Deliver tailored solutions to client needs while ensuring superior service quality.

3. Strategic Partnerships & Market Development

  • Establish strategic partnerships and alliances that add commercial value.
  • Analyze regional trade trends and competitor movements to guide market positioning.
  • Develop GTM strategies to increase brand visibility and market reach.

4. Commercial & Financial Ownership

  • Own the P&L responsibility for the region and monitor key performance metrics.
  • Ensure profitability through optimized pricing, cost control, and high-margin client deals.
  • Work closely with finance and operations teams for contract negotiation and implementation.

5. Operational Collaboration & Service Delivery

  • Partner with operations and customer service teams to ensure end-to-end service quality.
  • Resolve escalations with urgency and maintain a high standard of customer satisfaction.
  • Ensure compliance with local and international freight regulations.

6. Leadership & Execution

  • Lead by example—spend time in the field, engage with clients, and drive team performance.
  • Build a winning sales culture focused on ownership, agility, and accountability.
  • Be a doer, not just a delegator—take initiative and deliver outcomes personally when required.

Key Requirements:

  • Experience: 6–10 years in freight forwarding sales, with hands-on experience in sea, air, and land freight across the GCC.
  • Client Portfolio: Strong base of existing clients with a track record of high-revenue contribution.
  • Commercial Acumen: Deep understanding of deal structures, margins, and profitability levers.
  • Execution Mindset: Hustler mentality—energetic, entrepreneurial, and action-oriented.
  • Leadership: Experience building and motivating sales teams with a focus on performance and accountability.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, or related field. MBA preferred.
