The Role

We are seeking an established Regional Lead – Total Rewards where you will manage, lead and execute end-to-end processes for executive and broad-based compensation programs across the region whilst ensuring compliance, governance, and disclosure standards are met across jurisdictions. You will serve as a strategic Total Rewards partner to our regional P&C leaders and business units, ensuring alignment between rewards programs and business objectives across the regions of Africa, Middle East & Pakistan (AMEP) and America, Europe & Central Asia (AECA).

As the Regional Lead across the AMEP / AECA regions, you play a pivotal role in shaping the strategic landscape by not only overseeing the day-to-day operations but also steering the direction of Total Rewards function across AMEP / AECA.

The incumbent will contribute to the global Total Rewards transformation and an advocate of the business transformation, particularly for their region and the business lines represented within.

As an ideal candidate, you will have :

  • 10+ years in a similar role with a proven track record of exceptional delivery within the Total Rewards space.
  • Expertise with working and delivering in a global organisation ideally within a consultancy environment.
  • Insights Conduct benchmarking, job matching, and market analysis to ensure competitiveness and equity
  • Partner cross-functionally with HR, Finance, Legal, and senior leaders to implement compensation plans
  • Ability to perform analytics including pay equity studies, modeling, and scenario planning
  • Led regional compensation cycles (merit, bonus, equity) including planning, execution, and system readiness
  • Supported and driven training, adoption, and communication of Total Rewards tools and processes
  • Participated in and lead global Total Rewards initiatives, bringing a regional lens to global programs and policy development
  • Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline; postgraduate and project management qualifications highly regarded.
  • High level communication skills, strong stakeholder management including negotiating and resolving highly complex matters
