Job description

Regional Health, Safety & Security Manager

• To ensure full compliance with the Company Health, Safety, and Security Policy and Management system.
• Achieve Capital Projects Health, Safety, and Security objectives by managing all related systems, processes, personnel, and resources.
• Maintain comprehensive Capital Projects Health, Safety, and Security management systems using the latest techniques and technology.
• Maximize business performance by implementing and maintaining Almarai's Health, Safety, and Security management systems.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Implement and maintain Health, Safety Management Systems aligned with Capital Project Division Objectives to support company policies and business goals.
2. Provide day-to-day Health, Safety, and Security services to support core Capital Project activities.
3. Facilitate risk management processes within the division to identify and mitigate threats.
4. Record, monitor, and report performance, providing regular updates to stakeholders.
5. Develop and deliver Health, Safety, and Security training programs.
6. Develop and execute audit plans, conduct audits, reviews, and assessments, and recommend improvements.
7. Manage performance and ensure ongoing competency of the HSS teams.
8. Lead investigations into incidents to identify root causes.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Minimum of 7 years senior management experience in Safety and Security within an FMCG environment.
• University Degree in a relevant field.
• NEBOSH Certificate or Post Graduate Certificate in Health, Safety/Security or similar.
• Membership of the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (Tech IOSH).
• Proven ability to improve safety and security metrics.
• Good knowledge of UK and international safety standards and codes.
• Competent in risk assessment processes.
• Ability to lead multi-task teams on health and safety issues.
• Experience in managing national employees and fostering a safety culture.
• Proficient in MS Office suite.
• Fluent in English.
• Valid driving license.
