Regional Cooling Service Engineer - 009H56
Perform Startup & Commissioning on all equipment across the entire cooling product range.
Responsibilities include:
- Evaluate unit installation (e.g., the quality of pipes for in units and the hydraulic circuit for chillers);
- Evaluate system's installation & operational conditions;
- Perform onsite adjustments to optimize unit performance;
- Identify failure causes related to quality, software, or operational issues (Root Cause Analysis);
- Collaborate with other Schneider Electric service engineers & partners during site interventions;
- Document, label, and return defective parts to the designated disposal/repair location;
- Train customers on basic equipment operations;
- Perform preventive & corrective maintenance for cooling systems.
Qualifications:
- Thorough understanding of HVAC principles, specifically cooling, and basic electrical knowledge;
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision;
- Compliance with all safety policies, practices, and procedures;
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical documents, procedures, and regulations;
- Strong report writing and communication skills;
- Problem-solving skills with ability to interpret technical instructions;
- Capability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously;
- Willingness to travel internationally up to 70% of the time;
- University degree in Mechanical or Electrotechnical engineering;
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in commissioning or field service repair of HVAC or cooling equipment;
- Experience with cooling equipment & solutions, including air cooling, air- or water-cooled chillers;
- Experience with precision cooling is advantageous;
- Experience with HVAC, generators, fire detection/suppression systems;
- Fluent in English (B2+ level minimum);
- Flexibility, reliability, customer focus, teamwork, leadership skills;
- Proficiency with MS Office, Acrobat, AutoCAD.
