Qualifications

Job description

Perform Startup & Commissioning on all equipment across the entire cooling product range.

Responsibilities include:

1. Evaluate unit installation, including the quality of pipes and hydraulic circuits for chillers.
2. Assess system installation and operational conditions.
3. Perform onsite adjustments to optimize unit performance.
4. Identify failure causes related to quality, software, or operational issues (Root Cause Analysis).
5. Collaborate with other Schneider Electric service engineers & partners during site interventions.
6. Properly document, label, and return defective parts for repair or disposal.
7. Train customers on basic equipment operations.
8. Perform preventive & corrective maintenance for cooling systems.

Qualifications:

• Thorough understanding of HVAC principles, especially cooling, and basic electrical knowledge.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Adherence to all safety policies and procedures.
• Proficiency in reading, analyzing, and interpreting technical and procedural documents.
• Strong report writing skills.
• Problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret technical instructions and data.
• Willingness to travel internationally up to 70% or more.
• University degree in Mechanical or Electrotechnical engineering.
• At least 5 years of experience in commissioning or field service repair of HVAC or cooling equipment.
• Confirmed experience with cooling equipment & solutions, including air and water-cooled chillers.
• Experience with precision cooling is a plus.
• Additional experience with HVAC, generators, fire detection/suppression systems.

• Proficiency with MS Office, Acrobat, AutoCAD.
