Perform Startup & Commissioning on all equipment across the entire cooling product range.
Responsibilities include:
- Evaluate unit installation, including the quality of pipes and hydraulic circuits for chillers.
- Assess system installation and operational conditions.
- Perform onsite adjustments to optimize unit performance.
- Identify failure causes related to quality, software, or operational issues (Root Cause Analysis).
- Collaborate with other Schneider Electric service engineers & partners during site interventions.
- Properly document, label, and return defective parts for repair or disposal.
- Train customers on basic equipment operations.
- Perform preventive & corrective maintenance for cooling systems.
Qualifications:
- Thorough understanding of HVAC principles, especially cooling, and basic electrical knowledge.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Adherence to all safety policies and procedures.
- Proficiency in reading, analyzing, and interpreting technical and procedural documents.
- Strong report writing skills.
- Problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret technical instructions and data.
- Willingness to travel internationally up to 70% or more.
- University degree in Mechanical or Electrotechnical engineering.
- At least 5 years of experience in commissioning or field service repair of HVAC or cooling equipment.
- Confirmed experience with cooling equipment & solutions, including air and water-cooled chillers.
- Experience with precision cooling is a plus.
- Additional experience with HVAC, generators, fire detection/suppression systems.
- Attributes include flexibility, reliability, attention to detail, customer focus, teamwork, and leadership skills.
- Proficiency with MS Office, Acrobat, AutoCAD.
