Job Title

Receptionist

Job Scope

The Receptionist is accountable for reflecting a professional image through welcoming, greeting, and directing visitors appropriately. S/He acts as the gatekeeper of the headquarters, responding to administrative requests in a timely manner.

Main Duties And Responsibilities

  • Greet and welcome guests as soon as they reach the premises
  • Direct visitors to the appropriate person and office
  • Answer, screen, and forward incoming phone calls
  • Ensure the reception area is tidy and presentable with all necessary stationery and materials
  • Provide basic and accurate information in-person and via phone/email
  • Receive, sort, and distribute daily mail/deliveries
  • Maintain office security by following safety procedures and controlling access via the reception desk (logbook, visitor badges…)
  • Order front office supplies and keep inventory of stock
  • Organize and manage bookings of the conference and meeting rooms
  • Perform other administrative tasks to support various internal departments
