An established industry player is seeking a detail-oriented Receiving Clerk to manage the flow of merchandise. Responsible for activities related to receiving merchandise. Inspect ad unpack boxes and keep the receiving area as well as stores organized. They control the quality and check if the quantity of received goods is correct comparing purchase order Vs delivery note.
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
OPERATION:
Collaborate with procurement to monitor day to day deliveries
Review quality of delivered products
Inspecting deliveries to ensure they match order and invoice criteria.
Receiving and signing for deliveries.
Processing returns for incorrect or unsatisfactory items.
Unload packages from incoming trucks
Inspect contents to ensure they are undamaged
Verify packages according to order and invoices (quantity, quality, price etc.)
Report immediately to Purchasing Officer if a mistake is identified
Assume responsibility for returning unsatisfactory delivered goods
Label deliveries and allocate them to their designated place
Ensure invoices are signed
Maintain accurate records and assist in inventory control
Track daily deliveries Schedule
Assist in Management of off premises storage facilities (when applicable)
Enter order details (e.g., vendors, quantities, prices) into internal databases
Maintain updated records of delivery information and invoices
Prepare reports on deliveries
Monitor stock levels and inform Purchasing on orders to be placed
Coordinate with warehouse staff to ensure proper storage
To undertake general administration duties.
To observe the Company s rules and procedures and carry out any reasonable request made by their Manager, Supervisor, or the Duty Manager.
To be aware of your responsibilities in respect of Health and Safety at Work, following all procedures in this respect and reporting to management any hazardous situation or accident.
To attend training sessions and team meetings as required and to be involved and contribute to these.
ADMINISTRATION:
Prepare delivery report towards assisting business sustainability
To permanently follow rules & Regulation
Ensures compliance with food handling and sanitation standards.
To be aware of your responsibilities in respect of Health and Safety at Work, following all procedures in this respect and reporting to management any hazardous situation or accident.
COMMUNICATION:
To attend daily departmental meeting
To communicate in a transparent, efficient, and proactive manner through communication tools
Display exceptional behavior to create a positive work environment, and demonstrating a dedicated and professional approach to management
Improves operations by communicating and assisting individuals to understand needs, providing guidance, feedback, and individual coaching when needed.
FINANCE:
Consolidate & record all delivery notes and invoices
Stock management and FIFO process
GUESTS RELATION:
Ensure consistent delivery of goods to be the best for operations to meet guests expectations
HR & TRAINING:
Properly communicate sensitive and serious issues to appropriate people
To act as a mentor for new joiners
To attend training sessions and team meetings as required and to be involved and contribute to these.
JOB ROLE SPECIFICATIONS:
Qualifications:
Essential
Proven experience as receiving clerk or similar position
Working knowledge of computer programs for entering data
Solid understanding of health and safety regulations (FIFO process)
Basic math and recording abilities
Stock management
Desirable
HACCP trained
High school diploma
Experience in operating forklifts/ machinery
Experience:

1-3 years in similar role

Previous experience in similar operation type
Experience in F&B retail industry
