Overview:

The RAN and Transport Operations Manager ensures the operational continuity and physical integrity of ADC’s telecom infrastructure by leading nationwide field support for RAN, core, and transport systems. This role safeguards network availability through proactive maintenance and rapid response strategies, aligning with SLAs, regulatory mandates, and environmental standards. It serves as a key enabler of operational excellence and resilience in mission-critical environments.

Responsibilities:

• Manage daily field operations related to preventive and corrective maintenance of network infrastructure across all regions.
• Coordinate with the NOC, Engineering, and Vendor teams to dispatch field engineers and resolve incidents within SLA timelines.
• Ensure all field maintenance activities follow health, safety, and quality standards, including regulatory and environmental compliance.
• Oversee inventory and spare parts logistics to ensure availability of equipment for rapid on-site interventions.
• Maintain and update documentation of field visits, maintenance activities, and fault resolution history.
• Lead and mentor regional field maintenance teams to ensure high standards of technical execution and professionalism.
• Analyze fault trends and develop preventive strategies to reduce repetitive incidents and network downtime.
• Support infrastructure upgrades, site integration, and emergency response protocols as required.

Qualifications:

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.

Experience:

• 6+ years of experience in telecom network operations or field maintenance.

Skills:

• Strong technical knowledge of RAN, Core, and Transport systems (microwave, IP/MPLS, fiber).
• Proven ability to manage geographically dispersed field teams.
• Excellent coordination, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Familiarity with work order management systems, fault ticketing tools, and safety compliance frameworks.
• Ability to work under pressure and during off-hours for critical issues and emergency response.
