JOB DUTIES STATEMENTS:

Duties And Responsibilities

1. Performs clinical duties as per assigned clinical privileges.
2. Thoroughly assesses patients (clinical, socioeconomic, psychological, and functional assessments) following DSFH policies and documents assessments in medical records.
3. Develops evidence-based care plans adhering to standards of care and documents them in patients' records as per DSFH policies.
4. Ensures timely implementation of patients' care plans.
5. Becomes the most responsible physician (MRP) for inpatients under his/her care.
6. Develops discharge plans on the day of admission and involves discharge planning services early when needed.
7. Assesses inpatients at least once daily, documenting assessments and plans using SOAP format in accordance with DSFH policies.
8. Responds promptly to medical consultations as per DSFH policies.
9. Documents medical interventions performed on patients in a timely manner following DSFH policies.
10. Ensures timely completion and authentication of discharge summaries, including discharge instructions and medication education prior to patient discharge.
11. Provides education to patients and families, engaging them in the care plan and documenting this education in medical records.
12. Attends hospital duties and responds to calls as per departmental schedules.
13. Participates in departmental and staff meetings, contributing ideas for improving efficiency, productivity, and patient satisfaction.
14. Writes medical reports for patients following DSFH policies.
15. Contributes to teaching rounds and activities as requested by the medical department chairperson.
16. Maintains patient confidentiality at all times.
17. Complies with organizational policies on ethical practices, representing DSFH professionally in the community.
18. Performs other duties within the scope of responsibility as assigned.
19. Demonstrates compassionate communication skills, prioritizing patient-centered care.
20. Performs all duties aligning with Person Centered Care values.
21. Adheres to policies, plans, and programs within Fakeeh Care.
22. Follows the code of conduct and ethical standards outlined in HCM policies.
23. Completes mandatory education at least one month before expiration.
24. Maintains current knowledge on quality, safety, accreditation, policy, and document management systems.

Qualifications

1. Completion of structured training and highest clinical degree in the specialty or subspecialty from a recognized medical center.
2. Completion of required experience as per Saudi Commission for Health Specialties in recognized medical centers.
3. Saudi Commission for Health Specialties and Ministry of Health licenses are required.
