Job summary

A global leader in emissions-mitigation equipment in the Eastern Province of Saudi Arabia is seeking a Process Quality Control Technician. This role involves performing quality inspections, supporting continuous improvement, and ensuring compliance with production activities. Successful candidates will have a minimum of a high school diploma and 2 years of experience in quality control, preferably in the metalworking industry. We engineer tank systems that exceed safety standards, reduce downtime, extend maintenance intervals and, most importantly, protect the environment.

The Role

To perform in-process and final quality inspections to ensure that production activities comply with defined quality standards, technical drawings, and applicable customer and regulatory requirements. The Process Quality Control Technician supports continuous improvement and helps prevent nonconformities by identifying process deviations early.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform in-process, and final, quality control inspections.
  • Provide support for incoming inspections when necessary, in coordination with the receiving and quality teams.
  • Monitor production activities to ensure compliance with process and quality requirements.
  • Interpret and verify technical drawings, including GD&T specifications.
  • Use standard measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and go/no-go gauges accurately.
  • Record inspection data and maintain traceable quality documentation in accordance with ISO 9001 requirements.
  • Identify, document, and communicate nonconformities and deviations promptly.
  • Support root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA) for quality issues.
  • Ensure that nonconforming materials are properly segregated and labeled.
  • Collaborate with production, engineering, and quality teams to improve processes and reduce defects.

What We Are Looking For

  • Minimum high school diploma or technical vocational school degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Technology.
  • At least 2 years of experience in process quality control, preferably in the aluminum or metalworking industry.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting mechanical drawings and specifications.
  • Familiarity with Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
  • Working knowledge of standard measurement instruments.
  • Hands-on experience with basic metal fabrication processes such as cutting, drilling, and assembly.
  • Basic understanding of ISO 9001:2015 quality management system principles.
  • Exceptional documentation practices and attention to detail.
  • Experience using Excel, Word, and quality reporting systems.
  • Excellent command of English, with fluency in Arabic being a strong plus.
  • Experience working in an ISO 9001 certified environment.
  • Knowledge of control plans and inspection checklists.
  • Understanding of welding, machining, and surface treatment processes.
  • Familiarity with NCR systems.
