Responsibilities

Job Overview: Support the implementation of the QFS Management System (MS) in the plant to ensure products compliance to specifications through continuous monitoring, testing and inspection to verify products specs and ensure adherence to QFS processes and liaise with stakeholders to take immediate actions whenever needed while at the same support building of necessary competencies to all concerned parties to ensure proper understanding and implementation of the requirements so that QFS targets are achieved

Responsibilities:

  • Put the QFS Policy into implementation and assume all responsibilities assigned in the QFS MS
  • Conduct inspections on the products quality versus specifications as per the inspection sheet and prepare related reports
  • Monitor the adherence to food safety, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and hygiene requirements
  • Conduct behavioral safety observations as assigned by plant QFS Manager
  • Note any deviations and communicate to the stakeholders and ensure proper course of action is immediately taking place including hold and release of any nonconforming product according to the Hold and release procedure
  • Verify and validate undertaken actions to ensure their effectiveness in delivering required improvements
  • Support the QFS training program as assigned by the plant QFS Manager
  • Conduct Sanitation verification and Bio-trace as per sanitation procedure requirements
  • Provide QFS advice/guidance/coaching to the plant team and identify common competency gaps to be addressed in the relevant training programs
  • Support the QFS MS development and continuous improvements through active participation as assigned by the plant QFS Manager
  • Recognize and embrace positive behaviours and practices.
  • Ensuring calibrations of all QFS control equipment (metal detectors, primary and secondary weighers and check weighers, seal checkers, balances…etc.)
  • Any other actions or responsibilities assigned by the direct manager that is in line and supports the job main purpose.

  • Minimum qualification is Diploma in chemistry, quality control or food safety (natural sciences) and fresh graduates.
  • Excellent command of both Arabic and English languages and literacy in computer usage.
  • Self-starter able to work independently with a high degree of business savvy.
  • Excellent communication and presenting skills and the ability to engage with and influence the behaviors of others internally and externally without direct reporting relationship
  • Problem solving and strong analytical thinking (root-cause analysis, setting action plans…etc.)
