Join Our Team

We are seeking an experienced Quality Engineer to ensure quality requirements across our organization. The role involves identifying and driving continuous improvement projects through data analysis, inspections, and testing. The Quality Engineer promotes quality awareness, provides training, shares best practices, and supports the Quality Manager in deploying KONE’s quality strategy, governance, and goals.

Key Responsibilities

1. Prioritize quality performance improvements based on data analysis.
2. Use continuous improvement methodologies to investigate non-conformances, determine root causes, and implement corrective actions.
3. Create and analyze large datasets from multiple platforms to identify trends.
4. Support the Quality Manager in target setting.
5. Perform in-process and product inspections, executing measures, tests, and sampling procedures to ensure requirements are met.
6. Maintain and update quality records as per procedures.
7. Share knowledge of quality methodologies and tools within the organization, fostering capability development.
8. Support internal and external audits.
9. Coordinate preventive and corrective actions within the Quality Improvement teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• 4-5 years of experience in the elevators & escalators industry, with a proven track record in a similar role.
• ISO 9001 Quality Certification is recommended.
• Deep knowledge of quality assurance terminology, methods, and tools.
• Strong computer skills, including database management.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Proficiency in testing, version control, and defect management best practices.
• Professional certifications such as Six Sigma, CQE, or CQA are advantageous.
• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
