Job Purpose:
Ensure Panda adherence and compliance with quality and regulatory standards (government authorities MOH, SFDA, MEWA, GCC, Municipality, etc.) by communicating and setting action plans with the concerned departments. Support Panda Retail Company in developing, implementing, and sustaining the Quality Management System (QMS) through up-to-date policies, procedures, and work instructions.
Regulation Compliance:
- Manage government regulatory compliance and control systems to ensure adherence to requirements (e.g., Municipality, SASO, SFDA) and align guidelines with main stakeholders.
- Oversee control systems to prevent or address violations of legal and regulatory guidelines, collaborating with Commercial, Operations, and Quality teams.
- Work with GR departments to monitor enforcement of standards and regulations, planning timely compliance projects.
- Support future projects by identifying compliance risks and ensuring adherence to regulations throughout project lifecycles.
- Stay updated on regulatory developments and best practices in compliance control.
- Communicate new circulations from regulatory authorities to relevant departments to ensure timely compliance.
- Prepare reports for senior management and regulatory bodies to highlight risks and action plans.
- Maintain documentation of compliance activities, including complaints and investigation outcomes.
- Support and oversee product/project trials from a regulatory perspective.
- Keep abreast of legislative changes and coordinate reviews of departmental compliance policies.
Customer Complaints Management:
- Develop quality processes and procedures to manage complaints, risks, NCRs, and legislative compliance.
- Establish and maintain an effective Customer Complaints System to ensure resolution, customer satisfaction, and protection of Panda’s reputation, including root cause analysis and CAPA systems.
Non-conformity System:
- Manage the non-conformity system to document, track, and escalate quality issues, identifying root causes and implementing appropriate CAPAs.
- Evaluate food alerts and recalls, assessing impacts and determining necessary actions.
Product Recall System Management:
- Develop and implement the recall process at the corporate level, coordinating with stakeholders to minimize risks.
- Perform reconciliation to close recalls, review inventories, and communicate with stores/DCs for inspections and quarantines.
- Support cost recovery efforts related to recalls with proper documentation and stakeholder communication.
Quality Projects Management:
- Establish a foundation for quality-assured project management across projects.
- Support projects to ensure execution aligns with SLAs.
- Oversee project management, including coordination, monitoring, and compliance with standards.
- Maintain documentation for quality assurance projects.
NPI Management:
- Participate in New Product Introduction (NPI) activities to ensure specifications and standards are met.
- Develop good product practices to ensure safety and quality for store availability.
Maintain effective documentation processes:
- Establish standard QA procedures (SOPs) to meet company needs.
