Job description

Location:

Dammam 2nd Industrial City, Eastern Province - Saudi Arabia

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and establish quality control guidelines and testing procedures to ensure product excellence.
  • Ensure raw materials and finished products comply with engineering standards, product specifications, and industry requirements.
  • Continuously review, monitor, and improve quality control processes to maintain high standards of product reliability and performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as production, R&D, and engineering to implement quality solutions and drive consistency.
  • Identify potential risks in the production process and develop corrective and preventive actions to mitigate quality issues.
  • Drive global quality initiatives throughout IMEA region manufacturing facilities and tollers.
  • Lead the digital transformation strategy of the region's quality in accordance with the global strategy.
  • Define and deliver the IMEA region quality strategy and effective management system.
  • Ensure quality systems are in place, actively used, and effectively monitored to facilitate compliance with Ecolab global standards, enhance quality management through continuous improvement, and foster a culture of accountability within facilities in the IMEA region.
  • Investigate quality issues and failures, lead critical/major quality incident processes, and apply corrective and preventive actions to prevent recurrence. Provide advice on CAPA necessary at plant quality level for items not under local control. Ensure improvements to products and procedures are identified and implemented.
Education / Work Experience
  • Hold a degree in Chemistry, Engineering, Food Science, or a related field with a strong chemistry foundation.
  • For roles involving equipment plants, a degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field is required.
  • Demonstrate a minimum of 7 years of experience managing quality systems in manufacturing, Quality Control, or R&D.
  • 10+ years of experience managing quality systems is required, with at least 3 years specifically in a related industry.
  • Proven experience in implementing and improving quality systems, leading audits, and ensuring compliance with ISO and industry standards. Strong leadership in managing teams, providing training, and fostering a culture of quality.
Independence Level / Reports to
  • Operate independently within established corporate guidelines, demonstrating strong decision-making and problem-solving skills.
  • Act as a key advisor to senior leadership on quality-related matters, identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing best practices.
  • Report directly to the IMEA Supply Chain Director, ensuring alignment with overall organizational quality objectives.
