JOB PURPOSE
The Quality Management Lead is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining a comprehensive quality management system for the aerodrome facility management project. This role ensures all services provided meet the highest standards, adhering to ISO 9001 and contractual requirements.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITES
1.Develop, implement, and manage a quality management system compliant with ISO 9001 standards, ensuring its effectiveness in achieving project objectives.
2.Prepare and submit a quality control program for approval by the Contracting Authority, outlining procedures for ensuring all works meet required standards.
3.Conduct internal audits of the quality management system and address any identified deficiencies through corrective actions.
4.Cooperate with the Contracting Authority in its efforts to implement and maintain the ISO certification program.
5.Prepare and implement a Quality Assurance Plan, including continuous improvement measures through self-assessments.
6.Facilitate access to all work sites and provide any documents or samples required by the Contracting Authority for inspections and audits.
7.Assist and cooperate with the Contracting Authority's personnel during work observation and monitoring activities.
8.Maintain readily available documentation including procedures, implementation drawings, operation and maintenance manuals, and spare parts lists for easy access by staff and supervisory personnel.
9.Ensure all supervisory staff are familiar with safety and emergency procedures.
10.Issue certificates confirming adherence to approved maintenance procedures and regulations.
11.Analyse audit findings from both internal and external sources (including ISO certification audits) and implement corrective action plans.
12.Maintain clear and accurate records of all quality management activities and reports.
Skills
QUALIFICATIONS & CERTIFICATIONS
•Bachelor’s degree in quality management, Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
•Minimum of 3 years of experience in a quality management role within a facility management or construction environment.
•Certified Quality Management Professional (CQMP) or equivalent qualification (preferred).
•Demonstrated knowledge of ISO 9001 standards and principles.
•Strong understanding of quality control and assurance methodologies.
•Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
•Proficient in quality management software and documentation tools.
EXPERIENCE
•Experience in developing, implementing, and maintaining quality management systems within an airport or similar environment is highly desirable.
•Experience in conducting internal audits and collaborating with external auditors.
•Experience in managing and coordinating multiple quality management activities.
•Proven ability to identify and implement corrective actions for quality-related issues.
