Job Purpose:

• Test products according to Quality Control Instructions (QCI).
• Conduct stage inspections of the assembly process.
• Maintain logs of tested and inspected products.
• Collaborate with team members, drive continuous improvement initiatives, and suggest enhancements.
• Manage and coordinate continuous improvement teams, projects, and initiatives.
• Follow all health and safety instructions and safe working procedures as per Lucy's Integrated Management System (LIMS).

Job Context:

The position reports to the: Quality Manager

Key responsibilities include:

• Testing units as per the Quality Control Instructions.
• Working with the team to implement continuous improvement initiatives and suggest improvements.

Key Accountabilities:

• Test products in accordance with QCI requirements.
• Ensure test equipment is properly identified and calibrated before use.
• Verify that product outputs meet production targets.
• Ensure birth certificates are completed and signed by testing and manufacturing personnel.
• Inspect units against BOM, and report discrepancies to engineers and supervisors.
• Test and release products promptly without delays.
• Maintain good housekeeping in the testing area.
• Handle and clean test equipment properly.

Qualifications, Experience & Skills:

• Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in switchgear testing.
• Knowledge of electrical testing of switchgears.
• Good team player with effective communication skills and a willingness to learn.
