Job description

IPECARE Group is searching for the Quality & HSE Engineer who will be responsible for designing and implementing the HSE Management System. The goal is to enhance effectiveness in quality and to meet regulatory and accreditation standards. The HSE Engineer will define HSE Standards across all systems, ensure compliance, and promote quality and performance improvements throughout the organization.

Key Responsibilities & Authorities

  • Define Policies & Strategies for HSE, reporting to Top Management
  • Establish standards for health, safety, and environment
  • Define competencies for HSE Department team members
  • Oversee HSE performance at the Corporate Office and site levels
  • Promote competency development in HSE personnel
  • Approve procedures for company manuals & IT ERP
  • Design and implement HSE activities
  • Recommend resource budgets for the Department to Top Management
  • Train personnel, including internal auditors in HSE
  • Approve all HSE-related documents and records
  • Implement applicable HSE standards
  • Decide on non-conformities with the Quality Team
  • Assess and approve corrective actions for non-conformities
  • Identify and implement new HSE concepts
  • Monitor internal auditor performance
  • Conduct Quality & HSE audits within the Company
  • Develop and execute HSE Plans

Skills/Experience:

  • University Degree in Engineering (preferably Industrial, Mechanical, Electromechanical, Electrical)
  • Minimum 3 years of HSE experience in the Engineering Industry
  • International exposure, experience in Oil and Gas Industry preferred
  • Certifications: Lead Auditor ISO 45001, Nebosh HSE, NDT L2 (optional)
  • Experience with Aramco standards

Physical and Mental Requirements:

  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Mobility to walk, climb, and access elevated platforms in refinery or plant environments
  • Effective communication skills
  • Ability to focus and multitask
  • Willingness to wear safety equipment as required
  • Sufficient mobility and reflexes to perform duties and travel as needed
