Overview

A Snapshot of your day: Your day revolves around developing and maintaining quality documentation, inspection procedures, and tooling to ensure repairs meet Siemens Energy standards for OEM advanced and mature frames. It also focuses on conducting shop floor inspections, managing qualifications, preparing customer reports, and driving safety and efficiency while maintaining compliance with QMS systems and repair protocols.

How You Will Make An Impact

• Develop and maintain quality documentation, shop inspection procedures, and tooling in accordance with Siemens Energy Repair Network standards for all OEM and qualified frames.
• Perform shop floor quality control by conducting inspections and tests to ensure compliance with specific standards, while maintaining records of component qualifications.
• Lead and update QMS system documents and records for the HGPR shop, ensuring compliance with repair processes and standards.
• Prepare customer inspection reports and provide recommendations on repair scopes based on Siemens Energy repair categories.
• Promote efficiency by completing accurate, error-free work within set timelines, adhering to HR policies, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
• Drive a strong safety culture on the shop floor and collaborate with the EHS team to address and coordinate safety initiatives.

What You Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering (or equivalent) with 5+ years of experience in manufacturing or repair shop environments, preferably in Gas Turbine Component Repair.
• Proficient in modern metrology, shop quality documentation development, engineering drawing interpretation, and critical-to-quality topics.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills, with experience collaborating across multicultural and multinational teams, including US and German network shops.
• Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks, manage workloads independently, and handle multiple responsibilities effectively under pressure.
• Sensitive to cultural, ethnic, and religious diversity, with proven integrity and high personal behavior standards.
• Skilled in MS Office Suite and experienced in networking, negotiating, and influencing within diverse professional settings.
