Job Title: Quality Engineer – Oil & Gas/EPC

Location: KSA

Department: Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC)

Experience: 10+ Years in Oil & Gas /EPC Industry

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Quality Engineer to ensure that all engineering, procurement, and construction activities within oil and gas projects meet contractual, regulatory, and company quality standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in QA/QC practices, codes, and standards applicable to oil and gas operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement and monitor project quality plans, inspection and test plans (ITPs), and quality procedures.
  • Perform inspections, audits, and surveillance of site activities, materials, and equipment.
  • Review vendor documentation, welding procedures, NDT reports, and material certificates for compliance.
  • Liaise with client representatives, third-party inspectors, and construction teams regarding quality issues.
  • Identify and document non-conformities, coordinate root cause analysis, and implement corrective/preventive actions.
  • Support quality training programs and ensure personnel are aware of quality requirements and best practices.
  • Participate in internal and external audits, and ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and other applicable standards.
  • Maintain quality documentation and prepare quality performance reports for stakeholders.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Civil, or related Engineering discipline.
  • 10+ years of QA/QC experience in the oil and gas or petrochemical industry.
  • Familiar with ASME, API, ASTM, ISO, and other relevant codes and standards.
  • Strong knowledge of welding, NDT, coating/painting inspections, and material traceability.
  • Proficient in quality management systems and reporting tools.
