The Role
The responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Ensure the compliance of the Milestone’s Quality deliverables during the launch phase with the corporate standards
- Ensure follow-up and compliance of the Quality tests and validations with Product Engineering
- Check and validate the APQP/PPAP process with supplier Quality and Product Engineering
- Ensure parts maturity level and secure the production lines
- Monitor reactivity with Incoming Quality, Logistics teams and suppliers regarding defective parts
- Create and implement the parts quality inspection standards and ensure third-party training
- Proactively identify and mitigate supplier risks
- Monitor problem solving with Launch team, check solution implementation and effectiveness
- Lead the reactivity process regarding Pre-Delivery Inspection and Lucid Customer Product Audit with supplier quality, manufacturing and Product Engineering
- Participate in improving customer experience by leading 0MiS and 3MiS findings and associated containment and problem solving in coordination with Field Quality, Supplier Quality, Product Engineering and Manufacturing
- Monitor New Parts Introduction in the Plant (change management)
- Monitor ECR implementation within PLM or equivalent system
The Qualifications
- BSc/master’s degree in a technical or engineering discipline is required
- 8+ years of experience in automotive industry with minimum 5 years with OEM
- Experience in launching a greenfield OEM plant and new vehicle is a must
- Experience in Interior Systems manufacturing processes and plastic injection and molding is required
- Good understanding of product and process design of interior systems
- Good understanding of vehicle assembly processes; EV experience is a plus
- Good verbal, written, and presentation skills
- Able to motivate, influence, gain consensus and support within a wide variety of supporting departments and interface well with senior management
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple simultaneous projects
- Strong data analysis and visualization skills
- Ability to lead complex issues and communicate with different levels of the organization
Skills
- Knowledge of APQP/PPAP methodologies and Quality Core Tools
- Strong knowledge of MS Office tools (MS-Projects, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Team and conflict management
- Creative, energetic, self-motivated and highly organized
- Critical thinking with initiative and sound judgement
- Solid communication skills, both verbal and written
