About the Role:

We are currently seeking a diligent and experienced Quality Engineer to join our team on a prestigious Airport PMC Project in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. The Quality Engineer will play a key role in supporting the implementation and monitoring of the Quality Management System (QMS) throughout all phases of project delivery, ensuring that all activities meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and compliance.


This role is ideal for professionals with strong attention to detail and a deep understanding of international and regional quality standards applicable to airport and infrastructure developments.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the development, implementation, and maintenance of the Quality Management Plan (QMP) in alignment with project specifications and client requirements.


  • Conduct regular inspections, audits, and quality surveillance across all work streams and ensure contractor compliance with project quality standards.


  • Review and monitor contractor and subcontractor quality documentation, including ITPs, Method Statements, Quality Control Procedures, and Material Approvals.


  • Participate in the review of NCRs (Non-Conformance Reports) and support the close-out process, ensuring corrective and preventive actions are effectively implemented.


  • Maintain accurate records of quality audits, test reports, site observations, and progress on quality-related KPIs.


  • Monitor construction and installation activities to ensure works are performed as per approved designs, drawings, and quality standards.


  • Coordinate with PMC, design consultants, and the contractor to address any quality-related concerns and ensure timely resolution.


  • Support preparation of project quality reports, dashboards, and presentations for internal and client use.


  • Assist the Quality Manager in conducting training and awareness sessions on quality procedures and practices.


  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement and proactive quality management across the project team.


Key Qualifications and Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.


  • Minimum of 10 years of quality engineering experience, with at least 5 years in major airport or infrastructure projects in a PMC or consultancy role.


  • Strong understanding of ISO 9001 QMS, construction quality control procedures, and international standards such as ICAO, IATA, and local authority regulations.


  • Prior experience with auditing, inspection planning, and QA/QC documentation control.


  • Airport project experience in the Middle East region is highly preferred.
