Responsibilities

• Durchführung von Qualitätsinspektionen und Empfehlungen zur Annahme oder Ablehnung von Lieferungen.
• Überwachung der Temperatur von Lieferfahrzeugen und Produkten vor dem Entladen.

Job description

Job Purpose

To provide quality inspection of all products received to ensure that only items matching Panda specifications (where available) are accepted, preventing sub-standard products from entering the Panda Food Chain.

Functional Responsibilities:

1. Scheduling and preparing for daily food deliveries.
2. Following the DC receiving SOP for the product receiving plan and applying the sampling plan in conjunction with the TL.
3. Receiving and checking the temperature of vendor vehicles and products before offloading and prior to dispatching deliveries to stores.
4. Conducting product inspections and making recommendations to the TL and Assistant QC Manager to accept or reject deliveries based on set product specifications.
5. Capturing all non-conformities of received/rejected items with pictures and reporting them to the TL.
6. Accurately filling out all required documents, including the receiving log and checklist during inspections.
7. Ensuring proper storage practices according to product categories and storage conditions.
8. Ensuring conformance to Panda Receiving Processes.
9. Checking Brix and firmness for all relevant fruits based on specifications.
10. Monitoring the pest control system in the DC to prevent pest infections.

Skills and Education

Bachelor's Degree in Biology, Chemistry, or Quality Assurance.

Proficiency in English language.

Ability to work independently and be self-motivated.

Strong leadership and decision-making skills.
