Job description

The client is looking to hire a Quality Control Inspectorfor their team at Khobar, Saudi Arabia.

The QC Inspector will be responsible for inspecting and testing incoming materials, in-process assemblies, and finished control panels to ensure compliance with engineering drawings, specifications, and industry standards. The ideal candidate should possess a keen eye for detail and a solid understanding of electrical control systems and industrial wiring.

Key Responsibilities:

• Inspection & Testing:
• Conduct in-process and final inspection of PLC control panels, wiring, terminal blocks, and electrical components.
• Verify compliance with electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, and layout plans.
• Perform quality checks on incoming materials and components.

• Testing & Troubleshooting:
• Conduct continuity, insulation resistance, and functional tests.
• Identify and document any defects or non-conformities, and follow up on corrective actions.

• Documentation:
• Maintain inspection records, test reports, and non-conformance reports (NCR).
• Ensure all panels meet required safety and quality standards before dispatch.

• Compliance & Standards:
• Ensure products comply with internal quality guidelines and external standards such as IEC, IS, or UL where applicable.
• Support internal and external audits.

• Coordination:
• Work closely with the production and design teams to resolve quality issues.
• Assist in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Diploma or ITI in Electrical / Electronics Engineering or equivalent.
• 0-2 years of experience in QC/QA in a control panel or electrical manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of PLC, SCADA, and control system basics is a plus.
• Familiarity with quality tools and inspection instruments.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and wiring schematics.
