Job Purpose
This position exists to assist in performing product Quality Control and Quality assurance activities efficiently, in a timely manner, and according to quality standards as per the defined policies and procedures to achieve departmental operational plans and developments.
Key Accountability Areas
Inspection Support and Documentation:
- Assist in preparing and maintaining process inspection plans, check sheets, test reports, quality alerts, and work instructions.
- Support the maintenance of documentation required for ISO 9001:2015 compliance and audit closure. Assist in creating SAP inspection plans for new materials and posting/verifying finished goods using SAP QM.
Non-Conformance and Corrective Actions:
- Monitor rework and rejection cases within fabrication and switch box processes and report findings.
- Support the execution of root cause analysis and follow-up on corrective/preventive actions for product and process issues. Participate in verifying and maintaining records for first piece approvals (FPA), routine inspections, and destructive test reports.
Daily Operations and Quality Control:
- Attend daily production meetings to discuss and support resolution of manufacturing quality issues.
- Assist in allocating inspection manpower and maintaining administrative records related to inspection activities. Track and report KPIs for the fabrication process under the guidance of the QA engineer or section manager.
Tooling and Audit Support:
- Assist in identifying inspection tool requirements, including gauges and fixtures for mechanical and electrical processes.
- Support monthly process audits and help review daily inspection records to track observations and follow-up actions.
Training and Compliance Awareness:
- Support the delivery of training sessions related to process and product quality requirements.
- Record audit data, apply basic statistical quality methods, and assist in process capability studies (Cp, Cpk) under supervision.

- Coordinate well-defined written systems, policies, procedures, and seek automation opportunities as much as possible.

- Comply with related policies, procedures, and work instructions.
Health, Safety, and Environment:
- Ensure compliance with relevant safety, quality, and environmental management procedures and controls within the defined area of work activity to guarantee safety, legislative compliance, and delivery of high-quality products/services.
Academic Qualification
Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering
