Job description

As the Country Quality Head / Qualified Person (CQH/QP) for Saudi Arabia, you will be the driving force behind the implementation of a high-performing Quality System that ensures all our healthcare products and services meet the highest safety and compliance standards. Your leadership will directly impact how we serve our consumers by ensuring that quality is at the heart of every operation from product development through to commercialization.

You will partner with cross-functional teams across regulatory, supply chain, manufacturing, and commercial operations to embed a quality mindset and maintain inspection readiness. This is a pivotal role that supports our mission of making self-care simple and science-driven, helping people take their health into their own hands with trust and confidence.

Main Responsibilities

  1. Lead the implementation and maintenance of a robust Quality System across all functions involved in Good Practices (GxP) and health-regulated activities in Saudi Arabia.
  2. Promote a culture of quality and continuous improvement across local teams, ensuring consistent alignment with global standards and local regulations.
  3. Oversee the development, use, and maintenance of local quality documents and ensure all staff are properly trained.
  4. Support audit readiness and manage internal and external inspections, collaborating with relevant global and local functions.
  5. Coordinate local audit strategy based on risk and regulatory requirements, and act as an auditor when needed.
  6. Analyze trends in audit findings, ensuring timely escalation and resolution of critical quality issues.
  7. Facilitate cross-functional communication to embed quality in all country-level business and digital initiatives.

About You

  • Experience: Proven track record in quality assurance or regulatory roles in a healthcare or pharmaceutical environment, preferably including GxP-related responsibilities.
  • Skills: Strong communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills; detail-oriented with a problem-solving mindset.
  • Technical expertise: Understanding of quality systems, audit processes, document management, and regulatory inspection preparation.
  • Education: Degree in pharmacy, life sciences, or a related discipline is preferred.
  • Languages: Fluency in English is essential; Arabic is a plus.

Why Choose Us?

  • An international work environment, where you can develop your talent and realize ideas and innovations within a competent team.
  • Access to internal recruitment and development libraries — you can create your own career path within Sanofi; your professional development will be supported purposefully.
  • Flexible home office policy, with a possibility to work up to 50% of the time from home, allowing you to schedule your office days easily.
