Job description

Responsibilities
  1. Summer Intern for QA Projects and QA Tech vacation coverage
  2. Learn QA tech coverage for at least 1 area of the department, become proficient, and provide vacation coverage
  3. Support projects such as finished product attribute updates, dressing testing data analysis, signage updates throughout the plant, or assist in the development of QA training materials
Qualifications
  1. Ability to provide guidance and leadership to associates involved with food handling
  2. Authority to oversee food handlers and ensure procedures are executed to assure food safety and quality
  3. HACCP Certified (must complete internal training and demonstrate understanding via examination)
  4. Ability to present educational training sessions on food safety and quality practices
  5. Basic knowledge of food regulations (Title 9 & 21 of the CFR)
  6. Ability to collaborate with multiple departments to achieve company goals
  7. Ability to assess production systems and identify critical quality and safety points
  8. Perform daily product and equipment evaluations (taste, smell, touch)
  9. Discern color attributes for products and raw materials
Compensation

$16.50 - $17 hourly
