HCO employs a diverse range of architectural, engineering, planning, and consultancy professionals, allowing them to offer a "one-stop solution" for their clients' project needs throughout the entire lifecycle. HCO works on a wide range of project types, including residential, commercial, industrial, hospitality, retail, and healthcare.

We are currently seeking experienced QA/QC Engineer to join our team in Khobar. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in design quality assurance and control, technical review processes, and coordination with multidisciplinary teams to ensure compliance with applicable codes, client specifications, and internal standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement quality management procedures in line with ISO 9001 standards and company policies.
  • Review design drawings and technical documentation to ensure consistency, accuracy, and coordination across disciplines.
  • Perform quality checks and audits on deliverables at various stages of the design process (Concept, Schematic, Detailed Design, and Tender).
  • Provide guidance to project teams on quality processes, code compliance, and best practices.
  • Coordinate with architectural, structural, MEP, and other discipline leads to ensure integration and compliance.
  • Track and document QA/QC activities, including review logs, issue trackers, and compliance reports.
  • Support BIM/Design Managers in quality control of digital models (clash detection, model audits, BEP compliance).
  • Liaise with clients and stakeholders on QA/QC matters as required.
  • Participate in internal design review meetings and workshops to capture QA/QC outcomes.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5–8 years of experience in a design consultancy or engineering office.
  • Solid understanding of international codes and standards such as ISO, NFPA, FM Global, ASTM, and local Saudi regulations (SBC, HCIS).
  • Familiarity with BIM-based workflows and design tools such as Revit and AutoCAD.
  • Excellent attention to detail with strong analytical and documentation skills.
  • Certification in QA/QC or ISO auditing is preferred.
  • Strong communication and coordination skills, with the ability to work across multidisciplinary teams.
