Job summary

A leading engineering company in Abha is seeking a QA/QC Engineer to ensure compliance with quality standards in construction and oil & gas projects. The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering and 4-8 years of QA/QC experience, along with strong inspection and documentation skills. Immediate joiners will be preferred. This is an on-site position.

Job Title: QA/QC Engineer

Work Location: Abha, Saudi Arabia

Experience Required: 4 – 8 years

Job Purpose

To ensure that all construction and engineering activities meet the required quality standards, codes, and client specifications through effective implementation of QA/QC processes and inspection procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct inspections and quality checks on materials, equipment, and construction activities to ensure compliance with applicable standards and specifications.
• Review and implement quality assurance and control procedures in accordance with project requirements.
• Prepare and maintain inspection reports, test documentation, and quality records.
• Coordinate with project teams, subcontractors, and clients regarding quality issues and ensure prompt resolution.
• Verify the implementation of approved Quality Control Plans (QCPs), Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs), and Method Statements.
• Ensure corrective and preventive actions are effectively implemented for any non-conformances.
• Participate in internal and external audits and ensure compliance with company QA/QC policies.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance overall project quality performance.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or related discipline).
• Minimum of 4–8 years of QA/QC experience in construction, oil & gas, or industrial projects.
• Strong understanding of quality standards, codes, and inspection procedures (e.g., ISO, ASME, API, ASTM).
• Experience with inspection documentation, NCR handling, and audit preparation.
• Familiar with Aramco or equivalent client quality systems (preferred).
• Excellent communication and reporting skills.

• Candidates must be available for ongoing or upcoming projects in Abha.
• Immediate joiners will be given preference.
