Job description

Position Purpose

Responsible for performing post-harvest control accurately, assessing results according to the quality specifications and technical design of tests documents in order to ensure timely, relevant and meaningful feedback. They are involved in carrying out screen house practices and running new projects of R&D.

Responsibilities:

  • Run Post-harvest control for current season and identifying test volume.
  • Supporting in post-harvest sample collection.
  • Suggest solutions to big codes plantations.
  • Investigate codes samples tractability in order to guarantee accurate results.
  • Coding samples for local and abroad lab.
  • Plan, create and manage the overall screen house plantation including new projects.
  • Plant and follow up new varieties.
  • Collaborate with the cold store engineers to ensure consistent sampling and coding work in cold stores.
  • Arranging external samples.
  • Identify key KPIs for plantlets germination and growing.
  • Prepare and present ELISA results to direct manager.

Qualifications, Skills & Experience

Academic and professional qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree of Agriculture

Experience:

  • Experience of relevant 1 to 3 years in the field Agriculture (potato industry strongly preferred)
