Role Overview
We are seeking a committed Food Quality Associate to support quality checks of all incoming and outgoing materials and products, as well as oversee production procedures. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, reliable, and knowledgeable about quality standards to ensure our products meet high-quality benchmarks.
Main Responsibilities
- Maintain records of quality reports, statistical reviews, and relevant documentation.
- Develop procedures for inspecting and reporting quality issues.
- Monitor all operations affecting quality.
- Implement preventative measures against health hazards.
- Regularly verify checklists are completed.
- Conduct audits on the production floor and for suppliers.
- Collaborate with other departments to address quality and safety issues.
- Perform root cause analysis with suppliers.
- Inspect production procedures for efficiency and compliance with quality standards.
- Implement and maintain food quality strategies, goals, and objectives.
- Ensure adherence to food safety policies such as HACCP, sanitation, and temperature logs.
- Verify the consistency and reliability of production outputs.
- Ensure compliance with legal standards.
- Identify and address quality defects and food safety issues, proposing solutions for recurring problems.
- Train team members on food safety policies and procedures.
- Maintain a safe and adequate work environment.
- Project a positive organizational image to employees, customers, and the community.
- Ensure product designs comply with legal and safety standards.
Ideal Candidate
Qualifications
- Recent graduate with a Bachelor's degree in Biotechnology, Pharmacology, Biological Sciences, or related fields.
- Basic knowledge of quality standards methodologies.
- Must be based in Saudi Arabia.
- Eligibility for the Tamheer Program is preferred.
