Role overview

We are looking for a dedicated Food Quality Associate who will support checking the quality of all incoming and outgoing materials and products, as well as the production procedures.

You will be a firm advocate of quality in our business.

The ideal candidate possesses a trained eye for detail, is reliable, and committed.

General knowledge and comprehension of quality standards are essential to ensure that our products are made of flawless materials.

That way, our customers will enjoy high-quality services, enabling us to achieve long-term success.

Main Responsibilities
  1. Maintain records of quality reports, statistical reviews, and relevant documentation.
  2. Formulate procedures to inspect and report quality issues.
  3. Monitor all operations that affect quality.
  4. Implement preventative measures to prevent health hazards.
  5. Ensure checklists are met regularly.
  6. Conduct audits on the floor and for suppliers.
  7. Collaborate with other departments to address quality and safety issues.
  8. Implement root cause analysis with suppliers.
  9. Inspect procedures of the entire production cycle to ensure efficiency and compliance with quality standards.
  10. Implement and maintain food quality strategies, goals, and objectives.
  11. Implement and maintain food safety policies and procedures such as HACCP, sanitation, temperature logs, cleaning lists, etc.
  12. Ensure the reliability and consistency of production by checking processes and final output.
  13. Ensure all legal standards are met.
  14. Identify quality defects and food safety issues, especially recurring problems, and recommend solutions.
  15. Train the team on food safety and implement policies to improve operations.
  16. Ensure work environments are adequate and safe.
  17. Project a positive image of the organization to employees, customers, industry, and community.
  18. Ensure products are designed adhering to legal and safety standards.

Ideal Candidate Qualifications

  • A recent graduate with a Bachelor's degree in Biotechnology, Pharmacology, Biological Sciences, or relevant fields.
  • Basic knowledge of quality standards methodologies.
  • Must be based in Saudi Arabia.
  • Eligible for the Tamheer Program is preferred.
