Overview
JOB SUMMERY: The successful candidate will help to develop, implement and enforce quality and food safety standards, policies, and programs including HACCP, GMP and GHP, regulatory audits, food safety training programs, standard operating procedures (SOPs), product inspections, and standardized work instructions, government regulation and requirements.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Develop and provide training for food safety and quality requirements
- Develop and maintain documentation such as SOPs, as well as maintenance of manuals, policies, and procedures as related to any food safety concerns
- Conduct facility food safety audits as well as manage third party audits
- Monitor and verify activities to ensure that all products coming in and out of the facility meet food safety standards in addition to quality standards
- Update existing food safety procedures and documentation to keep up with changing requirements
- Assist buyers with training and educating potential suppliers to ensure compliance
- Work closely with the Operations team and VIP on any food safety or quality assurance issues
- Oversee proper maintenance and sanitation of all facility to comply with food safety requirements
- Ensure that all company food safety and quality assurance procedures are followed and documented correctly at all times
- Thorough understanding of customer requirements and communicating with them to have effective quality control processes
- Creating the requirements for raw materials from the suppliers and monitoring their quality compliance
- Evaluate suppliers’/vendors’ food safety systems; monitor and report on supplier food safety performance on an ongoing basis
- Maintaining accurate documentation and statistical analysis
- Getting feedback from clients, taking part in meetings, submitting the documentation reports, quality control inspectors, and also helping the external auditors
- Set quality standards for the safety of the employee during the production process
- Follows up on corrective action plans
- Develops, documents and implements food safety processes and procedures to ensure product safety is always monitored and maintained
- Lead the internal food safety, quality and process audit program
- Experience and working knowledge of SFDA regulations
- Identify and document best practices, ideas and information relevant to quality and food safety system; Manage the Sanitation Department
- Manage the Food Safety Team and ensure that processes needed for the FSMS are established, implemented, and maintained
- Ensure the promotion of awareness of customer requirements pertaining to food safety throughout the organization
- Develop the Company’s prerequisite programs and ensure that PRPs are implemented, monitored, and communicated to the appropriate parties, and periodically review PRPs

Minimum Job Qualifications Requirement (Academic, training, languages, etc.)
- Bachelor’s Degree in science, Business Administration or any related field from an accredited educational institution.
- HACCP certification
- FSSC
- 9001:2015 Lead Auditor
- FSSC 22000 Lead Auditor
- GMP / GHP / GDP
- SOPs
Minimum Work Experience
- A minimum 3 – 5 Years’ Experience.
