The core manufacturing activities of the industries operating under alfanar Building Systems are:

Job Purpose:

Study relevant tender documentations, Scope of Works, Drawings, Specifications, and BOQ to quantify/survey project components to verify or create accurate BOQ.


Key Accountability Areas:
  • Project Analysis: Review project plans, drawings, and specifications to understand project scope and requirements.
  • Quantity Survey: Preparation of full quantity survey on associated materials, trades and full project scope of works.
  • Collaboration: Coordinate with various departments to gather necessary information for accurate proposals and meet the project or clients’ requirements.
  • Risk Assessment: Identify potential risks and uncertainties in project scopes and propose risk mitigation strategies and solutions if applicable.
  • Documentation: Prepare detailed reports, proposals, and documentation outlining quantity estimates, calculations, assumptions and considerations, and methodologies used and applied in project.
  • Presentation: Present quantity calculations, comparison to Tendering engineer or Tendering manager for approvals and discussions.
  • Continuous Improvement: Keep updated with industry trends, technological advancements, and cost-efficient methodologies to enhance quantity survey accuracy and can provide clients satisfactory approvals.

Role Accountability:

• Full understanding of all Mechanical works components, construction methodologies and techniques.
• 5 years minimum of proven experience in quantity survey in construction and infrastructure Industry as quantity surveyor.
• Proficiency in quantity survey software, tools, and programs.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
• Knowledge of regulatory standards, method of measurements, codes, and best practices in the field.
• Can work in minimal supervision and under tight schedules.


Academic Qualification:

Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering
